About

I’m from Washington State and now live and work in Mexico City. Before settling in Mexico, I lived in Vietnam for six years, where I taught English and adopted my two dogs, Eva and Lily.
I’ve been writing forever, but I first “got serious” about it when I was 19 studying creative writing at Western Washington University.

Writing can be a little lonely. You write a poem or a story, and then, if all goes well, it affects the reader; it moves them somewhere in space and time, maybe in a kitchen in Mumbai or a cafe in Portland. But chances are you’ll never know. So, say hi—I want to know what moves you.
